My teaching methods promote active learning strategies and integrate group work and discussion.  Below are two sample syllabi from Principles of Microeconomics at UC San Diego and Economics of Regulation and Antitrust at Penn State.

I also have worked on research to improve student outcomes across the university.  At UC San Diego, I worked with Melissa Famulari, and I have a co-authored working paper (see Research) with her and Richard Carson on university funding allocations and student enrollment.
